If you have a mixed network stil including 95/98/Me clients, a simple solution is using the following Logon.bat as logonscript

@Echo Off IF %OS%.==. GoTo Kix9x
Rem Logon for NT/2k/XP %LogonServer%\NetLogon\Kix32.exe %LogonServer%\NetLogon\Logon.kix Exit
:Kix9x %0\..\Kix32.exe %0\..\Logon.kix
This works on all OS's from 95 To XP.
The env. var %OS% is only known to NT/2K/XP, if this is not set the batchfile branches to the label :KiX9x
In the NT/2k/XP section %0\..\ is not used because this expands differently on XP than on NT/2k, so the env. var %LogonServer% is used instead because it is known to all of these OS's
The call of KiX32.exe and Logon.kix with complete path might look like overkill, but this never hurts.
