Ive checked the RENAME tool - I must say that it is quite comprehensive and quite powerful, but does not allow me to do what I want it to do.
Perl script is OK, but can I call it from a batch file under WinXP?
Is there nothing that we can do in Kix? I see it only as an array manipulation job - reading the names into an array, changing the array contents, the renaming the files back. Its the middle bit I cant do.
