First, When I use KixEdit with Kix 3.60 and I run a script, no more output is shown in the output window, the only way it works is via a dos box.

Second, We want to perform a update of 200 NT Workstations from SP3 to SP5 (Y2K problems and other), I found scripts where kix asks the user to install (up to 3 times)
But what I need is a way to upgrade a PC of a simple user without administrator priviliges. I heard about su.exe, but this doesn't sound very safe to do. Does there anyone have a solution ?

That's a tough one.. I've been working on that myself. There are a couple commands in the NT res kit that allow remote command execution and run as services. Look into RCMD and RSH / RSHSVC. You could use a program like XNET supplied with kixtart to remotely install the services, then write a script that sends the command out to a list of servernames. There are a few problems associated with it.. first you have to specificy all the command switches for a silent install, then you have to deal with other weird crap because NT is a pain in the butt. Another way would be to use a program to set the scheduler service to run from an administrative password (using a program to do a mass change) then set all the computers schedulers to run the servicepack off some fileserver. --Wouldn't mind if anyone else knew of a better way. This is so annoying because it's computers 101 to older operating systems (like Unix).
