Just an FYI, if your afraid of losing thier page then I probably wouldn't do this either. Any HTTPS page they happen to be on probably will not open to the same page as it will not be allowed as it is now a new connection.

Also, page their on may be password protected and they may need to enter the password again to get back in, and it may or may not go to the exact same page.

Either way, there are plenty of possible failures that may PISS OFF your Clients and reflect badly on you if not handled properly.
