Is it possible to change registry permissions using kixtart? While we are on this is it also possible to change NTFS permissions?
The reason I ask is that I have about 40 XP pro machines with office 97 installed. All users are locked down to the Users Group with no special permissions. As a result Photo Editor will not run as it requires that the user has write permissions to a key in HKLM.
I have a way of passing an admin account to the machines during logon for any administrative updates (Without using SU!) and so its just the actual how to change the permissions I need.
