I still to this day kick my own ass for using the BBGGRR format. I left it like that because native Windows and Visual Basic uses that. Dotnet and HTML use RRGGBB ... there's a whole whack of ways to specify a color in Kixforms, eg:

code:
$Form.BackColor = 256 ; decimal
$Form.BackColor = &00FF00 ; hex BBGGRR
$Form.BackColor = 0,255,0 ; RGB array
$Form.BackColor = $Form.RGB(0,255,0) ; RGB Funcion
$Form.BackColor = "ColorName"

The preferred method is to use the RGB Array syntax or the ColorName if you know what it is. In Jen's link, all those color names outlined can be plugged into Kixforms directly, eg:

code:
$Form.BackColor = "MintCream"
