*g* people Euhm.. First of all I want to thank everyboddy for his answering and especially Vig.
I must say Vig is right, but you people are right about that I was writing a hotfix script. Offcoarse i was only asking how to program and use the Dir command. I was stupid not to search all topics, but well, okay thats my fault. What I didn't ask was how to create the script furthermore...It is always nice to get advice and idea's, but Vig is right about that I didn't asked that AND that some of the replies aren't that nice to a newcomer like me But well thanks again for all your commentry and replies & advice...
It is true I haddnt thought about stuff like: Is the hotfix allready installed...etc.
But what I didn't say was that the script whould be running at logon..Second more I didn't talk about users which are or aren't administrators (all users have administrative rights on the pc's (but not on the domain)) and so on and so on.
I was just trying to get the concept working...Haven't been thinking about the order of hotfixes nor anything else. But that whould be the 2nd step, and as I read..there are some other ppl who made those scripts incl. checking etc. So well, I'm gonna check it out and complete the script

btw...
If you look at EmunDir() UDF, you can easilly load an array with all the exes in the dir, then check to see if each of them are installed...
