Les Les KiX Master Registered: 2001-06-11 Posts: 12734 Loc: fortfrances.on.ca	You need to copy the binaries to the \NetLogon share and if you have Wintendos, install the KXRPC service. stukie stukie Fresh Scripter Registered: 2002-11-06 Posts: 9 Loc: netherlands	In the manual etcetera I only read about WindowsNT. Is installing Kix under Windows2000 the same as WindowsNT or are there things I've to think of?

Les Les KiX Master Registered: 2001-06-11 Posts: 12734 Loc: fortfrances.on.ca	Windows 2000 is NT5. The only difference when installing is the path. I used the generic term \NetLogon share. Sealeopard Sealeopard KiX Master Registered: 2001-04-25 Posts: 11165 Loc: Boston, MA, USA	There's one pitfall, though. Window XP interprets %0\..\ differently, thus breaking a batch file that call a KiXtart script as documented int he KiXtart Manual. The manual recommends %\..\kix32.exe %\..\login.kix which will not work under Windows xP and is not necessary for Windows NT/2000.
