Well,

I don't think you have to give user name and password to it as it will use current user credentials, this would shrink it down to a simple :

code:
if ingroup("Groupname")
use [driveletter]: "\\Server\share"
endif

hth

Please look up USE in the KiXtat Manual, it explains how to pass a specific username/password.

I would also go with some kind of group, either a global domain group or a local group on the stand-alone server.

If you say stand-alone, do you mean it is not part of the domain, or do you mean stand-alone as opposed to domain controller?
