Anonymous Anonymous Unregistered	This may not have any thing to do with kixtart, but I know there are a lot of registry doctors who hang out at this BBoard. I have a 40 user nt and 95 network. 90 percent of the 40 users are near future retirees. When I work on their workstations in the evening, the next morning is chaos because they cant log in. They forget to change from my username to their username. I would like it where only the primary username shows up in the login box. Is this possible?

Anonymous Anonymous Unregistered	I couldn't find the particular item in the win9x policy editor, but it is in the NT policy editor. Open the local computer properities, windows nt system, and then logon. There is a check box for: "Do not display last logged on user name." This isn't exactly what you asked for, but I think it is a close as you are going to get. Regards, Brad

Anonymous Anonymous Unregistered	I think there may be such a sequence for solving this problem: - within the KiXtart logon script You must generate some .reg file, which will write the logon user name directly into the registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Network\Logon\username" (Win9xx) at the time of comp startup (f.e. "REGEDIT logon.reg" from autoexec.bat); - while generating this .reg file within the KiXtart logon script You must check, if current logon username is one of Your's admin names. If so, then skip generating new .reg file and leave the old one with someone's logon name, who logged before. Seems to me this will be a reliable solution... PS: Sorry for my English. My native language is Kix32 logon script processor ;-)
