vikingtet vikingtet Lurker Registered: 2002-09-27 Posts: 2 Loc: denmark	hej.. i have this odd problem, i am running a win2k domain, and we have a mix of win2k/win9x pc in the network, lately the scripts fails some users dont get they drives some does when i log to a win9x pc i get a acces denied amd then the scripts runs fin. i get my homedir, but not my shares i did insetall the activ directory client for win9x tnx for a great comunity !! Hope someone can help

vikingtet vikingtet Lurker Registered: 2002-09-27 Posts: 2 Loc: denmark	only think i did was to upgrade to win2k sp3,but the problem is i have 30 users all member of the same groupe some get the drive some does not !! my i am administrator rights.. when i log to a win9x the first i get is acces denied and then the kix32 runs, but as i sayd whithout giving me the drive maping!! when i run i win2k i do not have any problems !!

Also copy Kix32.exe and the DLL's to the client if they are not already there. What version of KiXtart are you using? Try reinstalling the KXRPC service. Who many DCs do you have? In some of the discussions a patch to Win98 was mentioned. You might try searching the board for these discussions to see if they relate to your problem. _________________________ Jack
