linuxboy00 linuxboy00 Fresh Scripter Registered: 2002-09-27 Posts: 6	Hey everybody.. I looked in the manual, and in this board but could not find what I'm looking for. This is the deal...... I have two Win2k machines. Both have Professional installed on them. The one that I'm using for file storage has my modem in it. And I have everything set up for NAT with auto-dial and everything. My question is.. Is there a way to use kixtart to find out what my connection speed is of my modem once it connects from a different pc in my local network.? I looked at @RAS but I don't think it will do what I need it to. Any help would be great !! Thanks.

Maybey there's a similar site in your region?? BTW why do you want to know the speed? Is it so much slower dan directly from de modem-machine? linuxboy00 linuxboy00 Fresh Scripter Registered: 2002-09-27 Posts: 6	Both my machines are on a 100Megbit network. But for them to have Internet access they have to go out my modem to my isp. I could use a webpage to tell me my speed, but i was hoping on having kixtart do for me becuase it would be much faster, and I wouldn't have to use my KVM switch to go to my server so I could see what my speed is. The reason I want to check and see what my modem speed is to the internet , is because sometimes I get a really crappy connection speed like 26.4 and I would like to be able to drop that connection if I don't want to use it and re-dial the modem.
