Both my machines are on a 100Megbit network.
But for them to have Internet access they have to go out my modem to my isp. I could use a webpage to tell me my speed, but i was hoping on having kixtart do for me becuase it would be much faster, and I wouldn't have to use my KVM switch to go to my server so I could see what my speed is.
The reason I want to check and see what my modem speed is to the internet , is because sometimes I get a really crappy connection speed like 26.4 and I would like to be able to drop that connection if I don't want to use it and re-dial the modem.
