Hmmm.
My first machine at home was the Vic20, then C64, C128 (with built-in double sided 5 1/4 floppy drive and 80 column screen mode - wow!) then a couple of versions of the Amiga (500 then 1200).
The first program I wrote was for an RML380Z, having taught myself basic from a manual for (I think) a PDP10.
The RML computers were ubiquitous in schools in the UK way back in *cough* *splutter* *mumble*.
