Either my mind is going soft (er) or my search skills aren't worth squat...

I seem to recall a discussion a while back about extracting data from monitors via ?EDID? protocol? I'm pretty sure it was here on KORG, but I'll be darned if I can find anything via a search.

Can any of you young'uns recall this discussion and point me to the thread? (or tell me I'm dreaming about that discussion!) \:D
