Welcome to the board. You're off to a bad start, posting a poll instead of a new topic. Now you've been told to RTFM. Maybe that's what you get for asking us to 'be kind'. Perhaps reverse psychology might of worked.
First of all you needn't 'put' KiX on any 'desktop'. If you wanted to copy to %windir% you could, or you can run it from a share.
How you run your scripts depend on whether you have any legacy Wintendos. Most ppl start KiX with a BATch file and not many do GPO scripts, especially logoff scripts. With the GPO scripts, the placement of the scripts and binaries are crucial.
