I'm running a logon.bat file which has the following:

@echo off
NET USE H: /Home
if (%OS%) == (Windows_NT) goto NT-Win2K-XP
:9x-Users
START /W %0\..\WKix32.exe LOGON1.KIX
goto END1
:NT-Win2K-XP
START /W WKix32.exe LOGON1.KIX
goto END1
:END1

When certain Win2k Pro boxes logon, it just passes right over the kix script without processing, and users don't get their drive mappings, but for some, it works. Any ideas of what to check here? I'm pullin' hair!

Some XP systems require you not use %0\..\ in the script path but NT/2K prefers it.

START /W %0\..\WKix32.exe %0\..\LOGON1.KIX

XP bombs with the %0 stuff, as mentioned in a Knowledgebase article by MS. So how do I differenciate between NT/2k & XP?

In your BAT, you pipe the results of VER to FIND and then branch according to ERRORLEVEL.
