Hi Allen, thanks for your response. However it does not explain why 4.63 worked on a Windows 2000 server that I tested it on. I also looked to see what version we are running on around 500 Windows 2000 servers and it is 4.61.

According to the release note (copied below), versions 4.60 and up are not supported on Windows 2000. So how come it works?

IMPORTANT NOTICE: current versions of Visual Studio no longer support Windows 9x, Windows NT 4 or
Windows 2000. As a result, KiXtart 2010 versions 4.60 and up are also no longer
supported on these Windows versions. Running the executable on these versions
will produce the following error: ".EXE expects a newer version of Windows."
