Hi all,
I know KiXforms hasn't been updated for a long time, but I thought I'd give this a shot...

Unfortunately, forms generated by KiXforms do not support the ability to have explicit taskbar grouping set on them. In order to support associating a window to the pinned taskbar shortcut that launched it, as well as jump-lists etc, you can just set the AppUserModelID property on the taskbar shortcut and either the parent process or explicit windows it creates, and all the Windows 7 taskbar goodness works.

However, there is something about KiXforms forms that don't allow such associations and I have a feeling it may be due to some hooking in the form context menu, although I could certainly be off target with that. BTW, I have successfully done this with all sorts of other windows, so it is definitely a KiXforms specific issue.

Now, to set the AppUserModelID for Windows and Processes requires using the Win32 API, so if KiXforms gets updated to fix this issue, it would be great to be able to set this information as well as jump-lists via the KiXforms API. I would be happy to do this on behalf of everyone if I could get access to the source code.

Lastly, I would love for KiXforms to continue to support more modern OS specific features so it continues to kick-ass for a long time to come.
