Not specifically.
Here's what I want to do: We have several branch offices. The login script determines the branch by the 3rd octet of the ip address. So far so good. From there I want to place a certain shortcut on the windows desktop of all the pc's at just certain branches. The users don't have rights to place the shortcut on the All Users desktop so it has to be placed on their personal desktop..ie. c:\documents and settings\username\desktop. Initally all worked well by using that path and replacing just the username with @userid. But we noticed last week that if an active directory user has their name changed, for example because of marriage or divorce, their documents and settings folder retains the old name on a pc that they have logged into at least once prior to their change of name. So I want to use the @homedrive and @homedir macros to take care taht situation.
