Hi,

I am fairly new to kix, so hopefully someone can help me. I want to disable users access to the desktop environment until the Kix login script has finished. I use the command "use "*" /d", which takes a while to run. While the script is still running, users can run applications, etc, and this is what I want to deny access to.

Thanks,

Ian

Play with this REG entry. Sorry I am going from an imcomplete note that had it as a key . . .\Winlogin\RunLoginScriptSync. I think it is like the value entry below though. If you get it right. . . . It will cause the Login script to run before anything else can be done.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogin]
RunLoginScriptSync=1
