I can't seem to get "INGROUP" to work with a global security group. If I add a user to a built in group like "domain admins" it works fine. I also tried making the group a distribution group as well as universal but no success.

What's even stranger is this command use to work with the same groups.

Can anyone give any guidance?

Thanks,

jeff.

Have you flushed the KiXtart group cache (kix32.exe /f)?

I just tried /f and still no change. Testing the membership against any built in group (I even tried "WINS Users") works fine. As soon as I try a group I've created it doens't work. Again, this use to work with these same groups. Replication works fine in the domain. Same old script.

If INGROUP ("whatever")
Do Something
EndIf

Are you adding a user to a group and then immediately running the script (without re-logging in)? If yes... try logging out and then back in.

Do you see any errors in the event log?
