Hi

Has anybody that has a Login script utilizing some sort of Kixform noticed that the form is hidden behind the Windows 7 "Welcome" greeting that is displayed immediately after you enter your domain credentials....

The Only way I can make my form display is to put some sort of delay in my script before the form is drawn.

How can this Welcome greeting ( Only applicable to Windows 7 )be disabled? It causes my form to not display to users, and now they think the script is not working, even though it does.

Thanks !

This is not a Kix issue - the welcome screen is displayed by Vista, Win7, and Server 2008 for 30 seconds by default.

We configure all of our systems now with the following setting:
 Code:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System:DelayedDesktopSwitchTimeout=0
You can easily set this during build, and it will eliminate the issue that you describe.

I've never seen the "blue arrow" issue - you're on your own there! \:D
