Jochen Jochen KiX Supporter Registered: 2000-03-17 Posts: 6380 Loc: Stuttgart, Germany	guys, what's the best method for: suppresing the File Save Dialog at or after $nul = $xlObj.quit placing a formula to a cell, ie. =COUNTIF(A4:A500;"Apples") driving me mad, these little cosmetic things I'd like to automate. tia _________________________

Browse on over to the kix library in the Resources section of my web site and download the latest version (1.1) - it has more functions and includes the extensions originally written by Erik Kaerholm. It's the last function in the list - I guess I need to write some UDFs the begin with "Y" and "Z" now. $;\)$ @Arend - good mindreading there! That's an old rev post and I can't edit the original, so there's a later post that points to the web site for updated versions. Glenn _________________________ Actually I am a Rocket Scientist! $\:D$
