Does anybody know how to check if a computer is in a "Global Security Group" during Computer Startup in a "Startup Script" set in a "Computer Group Policy"?

I don't know if this udf will do what you want, but there is follow up threads that may answer your question.

Witto, I found this link:

Can you just do a read and get the value?

Thanks everybody for the suggestions.
I think I will try the ComputerInGroup() UDF as suggested by Allen.
I just found that there is a redundant $-sign in the script.

Too much to do for the job. Being a system administrator is not just writing scripts, you know. I also try to limit my computer related activities after the working hours.
Thanks for the nice and warm words of welcome.
