Well I installed on a VPC today, and crashed the whole system (in the VPC not the whole machine) when I tried to add the VPC additions. Looks like a reload to me. Not a promising start so far (no luck in the roll back to prior settings).

After 3 reboots and system self repairing scans, it came back to life. Onward and well... who really knows.
