As I said that is NOT a very elegant solution and you could easily delete files that are valid using a string name lookup alone.
You should take your time and figure out the locations and methods for appropriate removal (IMHO).
Surely if you have 7,000 workstations and SMS you have other resources and other Admins to help you out on this. If not I'll try to free up some time and find a better solution for you but no promises.
