I am a brand new user to Kix... and I have a weird problem I can't find a solution for. Background: I have kix32.exe wkix32.exe and kixtart.kix all in the \\servername\NETLOGON\ folder. I have "kix32" listed in the Logon script of the Profile tab for each user.
When a user logs in, it's like nothing is working. If I open a cmd prompt on a workstation and type the direct path kix32 it appears like it runs, though the script doesn't work (the script is just mapping a drive, plain and simple)
BUT if I navigate to \\Servername\Netlogon and double click on the kix32.exe file the application flashes on the screen quickly and the script DOES work and maps my drive.
So why can't I get the script to work on login or from a cmd prompt??
Thanks if you can help. I have searched the forums and I must not be typing the write keywords or I am missing something completely obvious to everyone else.
