NobbyausHB NobbyausHB Fresh Scripter Registered: 2007-11-20 Posts: 7 Loc: Bremen, Germany	Hi everybody, i´m new in this forum, so greetings Problem: since 2 days the wkix32.exe ist not executet during logon. This is for all users. Start ist defined in Tab at Profil each user in AD. Manual start ist running as well. Any ideas? It was running since many years without any problems. Only one change was made, an additional DC is installed, OS is W2K3 R2, all other DC´s are W2K with SP4. Bin MVP für Exchange - das AD ist völlig OK. Einziger Fehler ist beim Start der Server, Mrxsmb ID 3019 als Warnung. To Mart Yes, mixing from DC´s ist no Problem, the domain ist in native Mode. I have 11 Servers in Site, 3 of them are DC´s. I wonder, because this problem starts yesterday - i change nothing! I mean do you have one master script that runs child scripts or is it just one script? In the Tab in AD is the command wkix32.exe It runs many years perfekt, i can not isolate the problem. Actual i start a batch start.cmd %LogOnServer%\Netlogon\wkix32.exe %LogOnServer\Netlogon\kixtart.kix It works - but why dosn´t wkix32 direkt starts? _________________________ Best regards, Nobby from Bremen 8-)

Make sure the start.cmd contains the following code: Code: %LogOnServer%\Netlogon\wkix32.exe %LogOnServer%\Netlogon\kixtart.kix (Notice the % characters, you forgot the 4th one)

Arend_ Arend_ MM club member Registered: 2005-01-17 Posts: 1896 Loc: Hilversum, The Netherlands	Can't look right now but the rights should be inherited from the sysvol folder if memory serves correctly. Also try to replace both wkix32.exe and kix32.exe with newly downloaded versions. Btw if you start the start.cmd manually from the netlogon share does it run then ?

I can run start.cmd AND wkix32.exe from Netlogon folder manual - no errors, works fine - but only start.cmd works at logon. Tomorrow ill see more.
