asco asco Fresh Scripter Registered: 2007-10-25 Posts: 25	Hi all. Im looking for some help to make a logon script to my terminal server. My problem is that when i logon to my terminal server, i need to get the NETBIOS name from the local computer, ill logon to the terminal server from. I know the command @WKSTA, but that will just give me the name from the terminal server and not from the local computer. I need this local conputer name to handel my printer, så that i kan tjek where they are located physical. Hope you guys can help me!

Mart Mart KiX Supporter Registered: 2002-03-27 Posts: 4673 Loc: The Netherlands	On a terminal session the environment variable %cleintname% this will hold the name of the system the user is working on at home or wherever. You can use environment variables in a kix script. You might need to use Quote: EXPANDENVIRONMENTVARS ("string") Expands any environment variables inside a string to the corresponding plain text value but a test will tell you if it is needed. _________________________ Mart - Chuck Norris once sold ebay to ebay on ebay.
