It's still not too late juming into the tournament and racking up points. Remember, even just participating will earn you points.

Ps:
If you don’t make it into the Private round its ok, give it a spin in the Public round.
I hear things like “oh, I’m not good enough”, pshaw, its just like any other coding, find something that gets the task done, then once it works no matter how big it is you start hacking at it to make is shorter. I bet all of us have had huge code and I still do to start with. The more you play the better you get. You guys gota help me defeat the KiXGolf King (Jooel)

Every time I try it, I find out just how much I do not know. I have never been able to get a working solution Public or Private. In the last two years I have earned all of 1 point.

However, depending on work load, I will attempt to play.

For the first-timers, you can always start our with normal code, the most important thing would be to have a working solution independent of length of code. Plus, the first five score, so you may be the luckt fifth. Then, lean back and see how Jooel or Jochen brign down the 2000-character monster down to 200 \:\)
