Well it was, but like I said the new updated version of UBBT keeps looking at it and updating it so until I disable it in code or schedule a SQL update daily it will keep doing it.

Don't have time right now to really correct it in code but will try and look at it this weekend.

Okay I applied a MOD to the Titles that will keep the Admin and Moderator Titles as they are.

For normal users their Title will continue to be based on Post Count. I also modified those names some so you may see a few different titles.

Those with higher post counts than 1,000 you won't see a change.

Well... I doubt it's a Canadian thing. Lurking has always had a negative connotation.

having a negative connotation and being someone that hangs around a school yard is a bit different to me.

Seeing as though we're here as COMPUTER GEEKS and Dictionary.com shows item #4 as this:

 Quote:
4.Chiefly Computers. to read or observe an ongoing discussion without participating in it, as in an Internet newsgroup.

I would think that is MUCH more appropriate for the meaning of the term as used here.

The M comes from the roman sign for 1000.

I = One
V = Five
X = Ten
L = Fifty
C = One hundred
D = Five hundred
M = One thousand

All sings with a - above it had to be multiplied by one thousand.
All lower number in front of a higher number should be subtracted from the higher number so CM is 900, IV is 4, MCM is 1900, etc......

MCMLXXXVII would be 1987

M = 1000
CM = 900
L = 50
XXX = 30
V = 5
II = 2
Add them up and you’ll get 1987. The same goes for MMVII (2007).

So MM would actually be 2000 but as far as I Know it stand for More then M on this board.

Well... Mart was on the right track with the Roman numerals. Millenium Club Member, a club you entered on your 1000th post, was coined by MCA.

Upon members reaching their 2000ths post, they entered the MM Club. The Roman Numerals MM stand for 2000. From there it just got twisted. I cannot look into MCA's mind and even if I could I'd probably go blind, but I think he adopted it to mean Multi-Millenium Club.
