Its working fine today using batch:
%logonserver%\netlogon\regini %logonserver%\netlogon\office.key

But in kix its not working. I have tryed the following:
1.
shell "regedit /s @lserver\netlogon\files\reg\office.reg"

2.
$regfile = "@lserver\netlogon\files\reg\office.key"

shell "@lserver\netlogon\files\exe\regini $regfile"

3.
$regfile = "@lserver\netlogon\files\reg\office.reg"
shell '%comspec% /c regedit -s "$regfile" > nul'

Neither of this work. Any ideas

I've just tested your script on a W2K machine and everything seems to work fine.
I just your option:

shell "regedit /s @lserver\netlogon\files\reg\office.reg"

Are you sure you have only one DC or are there more DC's in your network. If there are more DC's are you sure that you placed the office.reg in every DC. Or are you sure that file replication is on.

Just try to replcae @lserver to the server name the reg's are on.

If I'm right your first script, without kix, points to this dir:

\netlogon\office.key

But in kix you are using this dir:

\netlogon\files\reg\office.reg

Are you sure the file is there?

Thanks for the quick reply. The files are placed correct. Tryed to structure the netlogon folders ;)

Recive "disk not ready" when trying shell "regedit /s @lserver\netlogon\files\reg\office.reg"

The users has only users rights both on NT4 & Win2k.

Could that be the problem

Looked at the diffrent ideas, but I think I will return to Batch in this case.

Did see some kind of converter for reg files to kix.

Are you aware of this program ?
