NTDOC NTDOC Administrator Registered: 2000-07-28 Posts: 11634 Loc: Space	LOL - Can't find the quote but was reading a paper from a British professor and he was discussing the topic with his students and basically said that it was of no matter. US English vs. British English The World as a whole has adopted the US English over British English regardless of merit.

Co Co MM club member Registered: 2000-11-20 Posts: 1342 Loc: NL	Ounce my teacher told me that my English was Atlantic English. Not very strange because I hated it to learn foreign languages. Especially German and French. In the Netherlands they teach us at school Britisch English. TV programs in foreign languages are subtitled in our country. Most of the Television programs in the English language comes from the US. So we hear a lot of US English. This is because some words that have changed over time in British English normal use have been preserved in the original form in US English use. Any antipodeans around to comment on 'Strine English?
