I'm going to read that thread in more detail shortly, but it 'appears' that my issue is a little different from yours.

In my case, creating the printer tcpip port doesn't "seem" to be a problem, it's the printer drivers themselves that seem to have the problem. Well, that's what the message suggests to me!

I'll test it again shortly and add a @SERROR in my code to try and see what message KiX returns.
