I hope one of you guys can help me...

Apologies if I have got the wrong forum...but...this is 'sort of' KiX related! :-) If you feel it should be moved to an alternative forum then please feel free to move it.

Anyway...

I am using KiX for our logon script and recently we have purchased our first Windows Vista clients.

When KiX executes it automatically adds the necessary shared printers (from our print/file servers) using the AddPrinterConnection() and SetDefaultPrinter() functions.

When these functions are called Windows Vista stops executing the logon script and displays the following message...

 Quote:
To use the shared printer \\<server>\<print_queue>, you need to install the printer driver on your computer. If you do not recognize or trust the name and location of the printer, do not install the driver.

What I would like to know is how to disable this message and automatically install the drivers on the Vista clients.

Ideally I would like to leave other Windows Vista security warnings with their default settings.

I have looked through all the Group Policy settings and I can’t find anything obvious regarding this.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks in advance.
