I will be migrating file server and would like to know if there is an easy way to remap shares through the login script. The file server will be changing it's name and the current mapping is been done locally on each pc by the user. I've tried deleting the shares and remap it again with a different server name through the script but this didn't work. Any suggestions?
It's working now. I've just use the Shell net use command and that did it. Is there any way to use script to find and replace network shares? eg. \\server1\apps to \\server2\apps. All users have different drive mapping letter.
