I think you will want to run the following bit of code on your XP Workstations..

code:

---

 ;*************************************************************************************
 ; Check the following key for W2k Machines to make the window not run minimized
 ;*************************************************************************************
 IF @dos >= 5.0
       IF 1 <> ReadValue($hklms+"\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon", "RunLogonScriptSync")
             $ = WriteValue ($hklms+"\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon", "RunLogonScriptSync", "1", "REG_DWORD")
       ENDIF
 ENDIF

Windows 2000 and XP have this issue. The DOS box stays minimized on the task bar.

You can run this code to alter this which also makes the desktop unavailable until the script has finished processing.

code:

---

IF @DOS = "5.0"  or "5.1"
	$RC=WRITEVALUE ("HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon", "RunLogonScriptSync", "1", "REG_DWORD")
ENDIF

---

I see Kyder beat me to the punch.. and his code does a check and does not write every time. @DOS 5.0 is for 2000 and @DOS 5.1 is for XP
