Brad is dead on teh mark when he says you can't blame kixtart for the Z: netlogon mapping.

It's a function of the way 95 & 98 connect to the netlogon share...
As such, I see no way around it.. Perhaps you coudl call MS and try your luck with logging it as a support call, but odds on you'd get no luck. It's no a fault, it's a documented fact. Free tech support generally only works for hotfixes etc of known (or unknown) "faults/bugs".
