The names of MODS for forums on main page was a choice we made. If others feel they would rather have it back then we can discuss it again.

Some of the code replies do copy and paste correctly into your editor. Some do and some don't depending on when and how they were posted.

Will it ever be fixed so that ALL are capable of being copy/pasted directly to the editor? I doubt it.

Please provide links to exact examples where it does not work for you Mart.

Hmm... looks like it now only postprepped code that gets screwed up. Could have sworn that code posted with regular code tags also got screwed up but now it seems to work as it should. Hmmmmm.... weird.

Yeah, but again, I "think" it is OLD PostPrep code and not new.

Meaning that code that was postpreped before the conversion to 7 is screwed up. But I "think" newly posted postprep code now works.

Will do more investigation as I have time and report it to UBB if changes are really needed.

Took some postpreped code from http://www.kixtart.org/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=117504 post #117515 - 17/05/2006 07:31. The post is over 6 months old so old postprepped code could be the issue. I'll keep an eye on it and let you know if anything changes.

Doc, I know you've gotten active on the UBBThreads forums... do you think you would have any pull to suggest making the Search,Shout,Users,etc column a user preference as to where they are located (left, right, hidden), which if any of the tools are shown, and the option to change the order they are sorted/displayed in.

It has already been recommended. Not sure if it will become a user selection or not but some others are asking for it as well.

Yep sure is otherwise nothing would get done. Here in the US we are actually a Republic NOT a Democracy. A Democracy would mean that regardless of what the outcome was as long as a majority voted for it then it would happen.

If 51% of the people voted to pay you a wage of $1.00 an hour while all your co-workers got $30.00 an hour then you would get paid $1.00 an hour, but since that is plain unfair and dumb we go with a little more common sense and don't allow such whims. So yeah, Democracy is over-rated.
