Ashpoint Ashpoint Starting to like KiXtart Registered: 1999-08-27 Posts: 192 Loc: Sydney, NSW, Australia	We would like a business wide signature text to appear at the foot of every email that goes out of the business. We are using Exchange Server SBS2003 with Outlook 2003 clients. Requirements of the signature include: Senders name (Presumably @FullName ) Some disclaimer script. Business logo. Has anyone on the board done this and can share the code or provide guidance. I am particularly concerned about the inclusion of a logo and logo specifications. Any assistance would be appreciated. Michael

NTDOC NTDOC Administrator Registered: 2000-07-28 Posts: 11634 Loc: Space	I would not include an actual image for a logo as that would then swamp your Exchange server as EVREY message going out would include it. Then as people reply or forward you have it again. I would use a link to an external source (which means e-mails would need to be set to go out as html) Don't forget though that there are many places that will strip it to text format anyways and loose the link or logo. The information is stored in the registry for the signature though I think.

Had a script that did just that but I lost access to it when the company I used to work for went bankrupt last year and me and all my colleagues got the word that we lost our job. If you take a snapshot of the registry with regshot, set a stationary in outlook, take a second snapshot and compare the two you will find the reg key to set for the stationary. The HTML file should be copied to a specific folder on each machine but that can also be done by a logon script because it is a folder the user can access. _________________________ Mart - Chuck Norris once sold ebay to ebay on ebay.

Mart Mart KiX Supporter Registered: 2002-03-27 Posts: 4673 Loc: The Netherlands	For custom stationary with your design and data on it on an WinXP box you should use C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\Microsoft\Stationery The folder is open for the user so the stationary can be dynamically created by a login script. After the stationary is created you can set the reg key below to the newly created stationary.
