Interesting, I always assumed they must be the one & the same & never had a reason to investigate further. The obvious sometimes eludes us. I also didn't realize that this change happened immediately. I think I will try experimenting with what exactly does change immediately. Could be useful. Thanks for the tip, it added to my day.I wonder how you are hoping to use this. Won't "UserID.Domain" be an alias for the IP address. Maybe you are hoping to use it in combination with a popup or chat utility. To make any use of this it seems to me that you must prevent users from logging on more than once.
