It's a long time ago I did remove Linux and installed Windows on the same computer. Afaik it was very simple. Remove the partitions and use fdisk /mbr to reset the Master Boot Record...

imho, resetting the MBR should already be enough.
and actually, windows should be able to write to the disk as it pleases.

reminds me of the OS2 boot floppy hard drive erase trick we used to do.
don't remember why, but it had to do something about NT not being able to destroy it's own NTFS partitions during install or something.

The only time that fdisk /mbr worked was with a Windows 9x or DOS Boot.. I just installed UBuntu and it is pretty slick for co-existing in a Windows Networked environment.

Comes complete with OpenOffice, Evolution, and other apps needed for working with Microsoft. Just like I saw another News flash about Microsoft installing XP on Macs - http://www.dailytech.com/article.aspx?newsid=1936

Thanks,

Kent
