On Wednesday of this week, at two minutes and three seconds after 1:00
in the morning, the time and date will be 01:02:03 04/05/06.

That won't ever happen again for another 1000 years!

You may now return to your (normal ?) life.

Funny thing is that for germans(like most of the other old-europeans) the date is normally referenced to as DD.MM.YYYY

So that event will take place on 01:02am and 3 secs at 4th of may 2006 here

Just another one of those odd email tidbits that I got. Can not take credit for the original thought.

Yeah, but the better formatting is YYYY-MM-DD for sorting and such.

So for KiXtart macros, we should wait 'til 3am so it'll be (20)060504 03:02:01

Here in the land down under, we use dd/mm/yyyy too.

I agree, that's the format I always use (yyyy-mm-dd). But I belive the standard here in Sweden is dd-mm-yyyy.. One can only hope that yyyy-mm-dd becomes the standard everywere =)

That is actually not true.

A lot start and end with an A like Australia, Asia and Africa but have a look at Europe. As far as I know that start and ends with an E

I do believe and feel free to correct me here, but E and e are the same letter are they not?

Mart, think you missed the point that they start and stop with the same letter for each of the continents, not each other.

Doh!
I misunderstood. The first and last characters of each continent are the same indeed.
