I know this has nothing to do whatsoever with KiXtart, but was wondering if anyone here is using this, and can provide me with some basic help.

Thanks, but in this case I have to use squid. It is an issue with the combination of Websense and Terminal Servers. Squid is free, ISA well it is after M$

Good grief, give us a chance. This is an international board with differing working days and time zones so you should wait at least a couple of days before giving up.

I've been using Squid as my primary caching proxy for many years. This is running on a Linux (Red Hat) server, and the supporting code for authorisation, user management, reporting, time-of-day restrictions and so-on are all add-ons that I've written to fit our needs.

The squid package now provides most of this stuff itself, so there is little need for bespoke coding any more.

If you want squid support you'll probably get a better response at the squid users mailing list http://www.squid-cache.org/mailing-lists.html

Co - I have been ViSolve alot and had many my questions answered - thanks however.
Richard - You are correct, I am just so used to the extremely fast response that we normally recieve here.

The help that I was looking for was in a windows installation of squid, how to do authentication back to a windows AD domain.

I will try the mailing list as well, thanks.
