did you try search?
there is no documentation of kixforms sockets, whereas the socket features of kixforms .net are documented.
anyways, kixforms sockets are tested and used in many applications whereas kixforms .net sockets aren't.
to get a hang of what to do with sockets, you can check the example scripts from:

or some network script from the fun & games section.
