some people like to make all the UDFs in a seperate file and call it in the beginning of a script.Some like to add the UDFs to the end of current script.
either way works, it is up to you decide.
(but I prefer the end of the script... You only add the UDFs you need and you can make slight mods to them for your current needs without breaking it for another script)
