I know I just read about it or saw some code where it did this before but I can't seem to find it in Search or on KiXHelp's UDF listing. someone had a loop with a var and the var created comp$x accounts on the domain and ironically enough i've run into a situation where i could put that to good use but can't find that code again. If anyone knows of it, would you mind linking it? Otherwise, what would be the best way to appraoch this? WMI?

Thanx Howard it worked. I'm not sure if this is the right forum to suggest mods to it or not since it's compiled PERL but you asked on your site so I'll do it here this time since you're a mod. =P

It worked without error but one thing that would've make it a lot easier would've been allowing the executable to have $dc, $comp, $DN vars to it as well so that way you could call the executable much more easily from a script.

...just a thought. thanx again for the exe! =D

I guess there are different approaches. The program was designed to simply process a batch of computers from an input file. I would think that you could use your script to build the input file and then make one call to the EXE from your script.

But if you have an ongoing need to use this type of process, send me an email describing what you need to accomplish and I could most likely provide you a solution.
