Lonk should come back as soon as he sobers up.
Finland is doing well in the olympics, so the vodka is probably on sale now.

CURLING Canada beats U.S. in curling PINEROLO, Italy (AP)-- The United States, still looking for its first men's curling medal, will play for the bronze at the Turin Olympics.
Canada clinched at least a silver medal by beating the U.S. 11-to-5 today. That sends the Americans into the consolation game for third place. Canada wrapped up today's game with a whopping five points in the ninth end—one point short of the Olympic record.
Finland beat Britain 4-to-3 in the other semifinal, so the U.S. plays Britain for the bronze, and Canada takes on Finland for the gold.
HOCKEY Finland 4 United States 3 TURIN, Italy (AP)-- The U.S. men's hockey team just never clicked in Turin, and now it's out of the Olympics.
Finland beat the Americans 4-to-3 in a quarterfinal today. The U.S. had 15 of its 26 shots in the third period but couldn't get the tying goal in the net. Olli Jokinen scored two power-play goals in the second period for Finland, which advances to a semifinal game against either Canada or Russia.
The U-S, which won the silver medal four years ago in Salt Lake City, finishes this tournament with a 1-4-and-1 record.
BTW, why is Curling an Olympic sport? It is like 1 step above skipping rocks on a pond

There are many other minority sports which should be included - I'm going to petition for Bog Snorkeling - though maybe as a Summer sport rather than Winter.

Regarding Ice Fishing...
How much do you have to hate your wife to go ice fishing more than once?

sitting in a chair on the surface of a frozen pond over a small hole in the ice... usually during a blizzard.
I'd rather be in a bar.

I'm not sure where Rad would ice fish anyway. He lives in Florida where if they get a frost it is considered a harsh winter.

I know what you mean RAD, I awoke yesterday to find the hotwater heater had even gotten tired of the cold and refused to work anymore. Had to brave the 40 F weather to put in a new thermocouple.
Ah! but seems like that frosty winter has left, today was back to 60 F in the cold of morning and will reach nearly 80 today.
But I suppose it's better than 9 F that some of Finland has at the moment. -13C (hmmm that seems a bit warm for them too)
