Below is a copy of a Kix logon script from NT Server to W9x clients. It is to map a drive, install a copy of Norton's Anti-Virus Agent, and delete the drive mapping. The problem is that we never complete the agent installation and the drive mapping never gets disconnected.

;Distribute Norton Anti-Virus Agent
IF INGROUP("Domain Users")
USE V: "\\ALC02\Norton"
RUN "V:\AGNTINST.EXE /r"
USE V: /X
ENDIF
EXIT

How can I have a "timeout" or "wait" setting or command that would work? Please help. TIA.

Replace RUN with SHELL.

Thank you. I also stumbled across the SLEEP command. Which would be better: SHELL or SLEEP?

Shell is better as it will return control back to the script after the program exits. Sleep is an arbitrary value that may return control to the script too early or too late.
